I’m Bek, Brit-Stitch’s Brand Manager and Designer. We hope you’re all well and keeping safe. We thought as a team it would be nice to give you an update on Brit-Stitch, as we’ve been quiet for a while.
At the end of March, as like many companies, we decided to temporarily shut. It was extremely sad but a decision we had to make for the safety of our whole team. Whilst at home, a lot of cake was baked (and eaten!), we did wonders in the garden and our dogs were spoilt rotten! And one of our Directors became a dad – huge congrats Owen!
Since our closure, we are extremely proud to have been able to make our production space available for our sister company to make critical items essential for emergency services, NHS and key infrastructure.
We’re unsure yet when we’ll be able to start producing Brit-Stitch pieces again, but be assured we aren’t going anywhere!
As many of you know we predominantly make to order so this is why we haven’t been able to accept any new orders, but we do have some stock items that we hope to make available on our website over the coming weeks – there will be discounts to say a big thanks for all your support!
The team and I are using this pause in trade to work on exciting new developments and product offerings for all our fabulous customers. We know we’re extremely privileged as a company to be able to have this positive pause and we’ll keep you posted with sneak peaks on social!
We’re very proud to be a Welsh manufacturer of colourful quality leather bags and accessories and we can’t wait to be making these again for you.
We would like to thank all of our customers and followers for their lovely messages and support during this time. We will be back, but date to be confirmed. In the meantime take care and stay safe!
